Mycroft Masada is a trans and queer faith leader who moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland (Montgomery County near Washington DC) from their lifelong home of Boston in 2014. A TransFaith National Council member, TransEpiscopal Steering Committee member and former Congregation Am Tikva board member, Mycroft is particularly called to pursue LGBTQI+ and fat justice, and is an advocate, organizer, consultant, educator, trainer, writer and artist. They are married to Julia McCrossin, the massculine fatshion blogger, and with her they co-parent a dogter. Their central online home is MasadArts.blogspot.com.

My friend queer Jewish author Shira Glassman

My friend Shira Glassman now has a Facebook Author page, and blog!  Queerness and Judaism and dragons, huzzah!    

One of her claims to fame* is that she did a great deal to help me finally realize and actualize myself as an ally and admirer of fat people (*or infamy, depending on your point of view, heh).

"Queer Jewish feminist author, focusing on things like a modern, feminist, pagan-ish twist on Judaism; navigating food allergies and intolerances; people of all sexual orientations getting along together, and….um….dragons.

Shira Glassman lives in North Central Florida with a labor activist and a misbehaving calico. She has written two fantasy novels with a lesbian protagonist, the first of which is due to be published by Prizm Books at the end of summer 2013."
